Benji Barker,^[2] portrayed by Kingston James, is a recurring character in the fifth season of Stranger Things. He is also one of Vecna's Vessels.

History

1987

Benji is a classmate of Holly Wheeler. He was abducted by Vecna on November 4th, along with Valerie and Roger Ames.

He was then transported to The Abyss by Vecna, who was injecting the same organic matter which he once did with Will, which Will accidentally witnessed in a vision in "Sorcerer". He was in a partial comatose state where he couldn't control his real body. He temporarily resided in The Creel Mansion with the other 11 children. All the children believed in Henry that he was their saviour and rescued them from the Demogorgons.

1989

Benji, now in middle school, became part of the baseball team alongside Derek Turnbow, Joshua Gunn, Thomas Hall, Glenn Stickler, and Roger. The team was being coached by Coach Tudor and Steve Harrington.
