@strangerwriters is the Stranger Things writers' room Twitter account. The account is an avenue through which various staff working on the show can directly communicate with fans, and reveal or clarify details pertaining to both the fictional universe and real life production of the series.^[1]

History

Staff writer Caitlin Schneiderhan is responsible for starting the @strangerwriters account. It was apparently created in June 2015.^[2]
